As a lawyer, Floyd Rogers has over five years of experience in divorce and domestic relations matters. He encourages and enjoys using mediation instead of litigation, though he is happy to provide either service based upon the client's preference. Floyd Rogers encourages his clients to use mediation as often as possible to save the stress, time and excessive expense that litigation can produce. Mediation can also be expensive, but typically it is less stressful, and usually saves time and money.

Floyd Rogers is not an aggressive, scorched earth litigator. Instead, his personality and style of practicing law typically includes showing all the care, respect, and kindness possible, to all parties involved. Floyd Rogers has found that more often than not, his manner/approach of practicing law produces successful legal representation and happy/contented clients even if litigation has to be utilized. Floyd Rogers has experienced a divorce himself, which allows him to both empathize and appreciate the grief and anguish a divorce can cause. Floyd Rogers was divorced after being married fourteen years and having four beautiful children. The court awarded him all four of his children, which he raised as a single parent for a long period of time.

Floyd Rogers then met the love of his life, Jackie, who he nicknamed and refers to as his "Special Pleasure", and has been happily married to her for eighteen years. Thus, he understands all the emotional pain, feeling of rejection, and other frustrations and destruction a divorce can bring to the lives of both the divorcing adults, and the children involved.
